The only menu mom needs on Sunday 🌸

Hi Reader! πŸ‘‹

Happy Friday! Mother's Day is next Sunday so it's time to start thinking about what you're going to cook for the mother figure in your life to make her day extra special. Whether you're hosting brunch, doing a long leisurely lunch, or just gathering the family together β€” I've got you completely covered from the first sip to the last bite. You can pick and choose what you want to make or serve the whole thing!

This menu is elegant without being complicated, impressive without being stressful, and every single thing on it feels like a celebration. The kind of meal that makes mom feel truly taken care of, which really is the whole point. 🌸

Here's everything you need πŸ‘‡

Start the morning (or afternoon β€” no judgment) with this one. It's a little more elevated than your classic margarita β€” the amaretto adds this gorgeous, slightly sweet almond note that makes it feel extra special. Batch a pitcher ahead of time so you can spend more time with mom.

This is the kind of appetizer that makes people think you really went for it β€” but it comes together in minutes. Silky smoked salmon, crispy fried capers, fresh herbs, and a gorgeous presentation that sets the tone for the whole meal. Set it out as guests arrive and watch it disappear.

Okay this one is the dish. All the cozy, indulgent flavors of a classic Croque Monsieur — ham, Gruyère, that gorgeous béchamel — baked into a casserole you can prep the night before. The morning of, it goes straight into the oven while you sip your Italian Margarita. Honestly the most brilliant Mother's Day move.

This salad is fancy in the best possible way. Tender bibb lettuce, a luxurious black truffle vinaigrette, and Mimolette cheese β€” it's the kind of side dish that makes the whole table feel special. And it's so simple to throw together. Pair it alongside the casserole and the whole spread looks like something out of a restaurant.

End on the sweetest note. These little cookies are delicate, nutty, and melt-in-your-mouth perfect β€” and they happen to be grain-free, which means everyone at the table can enjoy them. Make a big batch, dust them in powdered sugar, and pile them on a pretty plate. They look beautiful and taste even better.

Whether you're hosting a full dinner party for mom or just want to treat yourself to a really beautiful weekend meal, I hope this menu inspires you.
